Canadian Stock Allocations, Pricing

Hi everyone,

I work at a Toyota dealer in Canada and am able to share allocations, pricing and other update as they are made available.

A fair warning, the GR Corolla will be extremely low production for Canada for 2023. VERY low. Don't get excited.

If the launch goes as planned we should see the first allocations sometime this month. I'd recommend subscribing to this thread if you are hoping to get lucky and find an allocation that available.

Pricing was just made available to dealers this morning. This is the base MSRP, before freight, PDI etc.... and mark up

GR Corolla Core (ABAAEM SFX-A) $45,490

GR Corolla Core Circuit Special Edition (ABAAEM SFX-B) $51,480

GR Corolla Morizo Special Edition (ABBAEM SFX-A) $59,990

There’s a decent chance we see the first allocations this week. As far as when the special editions will be built, vs the regular core model, we don’t have any info yet.

So the way these allocations get released is, National divides it up into each zone, pacific, atlantic, central, prairie etc, then each individual zone distributes to dealers. So far it only looks like central and atlantic have sent out the allocations, if pacific, prairie and quebec received allocations from national we should see them within a few days

Do you know what are the chances are for the CE? I know it is a MY23 production only for now, seeing the CORE numbers this low has me pretty pessimistic of landing one, even though I'm 1st in line at my dealer.

The reality is you should not be optimistic to get ANY model :/ sorry to be blunt!

These are technically "stock" allocations, I expect that most dealers who received one already have a plan for the car (mark up) and a long waiting list as well. You'd have to call the dealer and see if it is for sale or already spoken for. Most of the allocations were marked off as "sold" very quickly, so we cannot see them anymore in the dealer search program.

Everytime I contact my Canadian dealer about info they can't even pull up info that has been posted here. Gotta rely on forum homies to give us the details.

If a dealer marks a car as sold it will disappear from the dealer search system according to Rustyoid. So it could just be that dealers have fast hands and we won’t see the full allocation list.
