Toyota has disclosed that during the 2023 model year in the United States, they have successfully sold a total of 3,927 GR Corollas. These sales included 2,538 Core models, 1,208 Circuit Editions, and 181 Morizo Editions. Interestingly, out of the 181 Morizo Editions available in the U.S., only 15 are left for purchase, as the country was allocated 200 of these exclusive models.

These sales can be divided into three main trim levels: 2,538 were Core models, 1,208 were Circuit Editions, and 181 were Morizo Editions. Interestingly, even though only 200 Morizo Editions were allocated to the U.S., only 15 of these uncompromising models remain available for purchase, as four are not for sale.
The Morizo Edition, known for its unique features like the removal of rear seats, rear window regulators, and rear speakers, along with a torque boost of 12 lb-ft (16 Nm), was most commonly selected in the Wind Chill Pearl color. Out of the 181 buyers, 97 opted for the white paint color, while 84 preferred Smoke.
White appears to be a popular color choice across the GR Corolla lineup. Among the 2,538 Core trim level buyers, 1,048 went for Ice Cap, 902 chose Black, and 588 selected Supersonic Red.
Another interesting aspect is how buyers opted for optional packages. An impressive 89 percent of buyers chose the Technology Package, priced at $770, which added features like a wireless smartphone charger, Premium JBL sound system, and integrated navigation.
Furthermore, 85 percent of buyers decided to enhance their GR Corolla with the Performance Package, costing $1,180. This package included Torsen limited-slip differentials at both the front and rear, 14-inch ventilated and slotted front brake discs, four-piston red-painted front brake calipers, and two-piston calipers at the back. Additionally, 74 percent of buyers opted for the Cold Weather package, adding $500 to the car's price and providing heated seats and a heated steering wheel.
In the case of the Circuit Edition, which came with Torsen differentials and a carbon composite roof, Ice Cap was the second-most popular color (446 buyers), following Heavy Metal (495). Supersonic Red, however, lagged behind with only 267 buyers selecting it.
Looking ahead to the 2024 model year lineup, Toyota plans to introduce a loaded Premium trim model that incorporates features from the Cold Weather, Technology, and Performance packages as standard. The Circuit Edition will continue to cater to performance-focused buyers, while the Core trim remains available for budget-conscious consumers. Despite being less popular, Supersonic Red will still be offered in the 2024 lineup. However, the Morizo Edition will not be part of the offerings for that year.
