Hello all. Was considering a 2023 Subaru STi to replace my aging Impreza but now that it's been canned. The GR Corolla is just exactly what I wanted.

Hello Everyone! I am blessed to be a Toyota employee, (I don’t work at a Toyota dealership or Corporate, just under a different branch of a company affiliated with SETF).
I currently share a 2019 Honda Odyssey with my wife and I have been without a car of my own for over a year (I either work from home or fly to a different city for a couple of days). My last car was a 2017 Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio (the 500 horsepower one). I have been looking for a suitable replacement recently and since I work for a Toyota company, I was going to order a GR86. But I was also waiting to see how the GR Corolla would turn out. Turns out the GR Corolla is better than I thought it would be and it makes more sense for me than an 86, so I plan on ordering a Circuit Edition in 2023 in Heavy Metal.

Hi,
Current ZR Corolla owner. Excited to have a GR on order but still no firm date for production or delivery to Australia yet.
Keen to find out more from International owners and media releases.

Hey guys. Excited about hopefully getting this car. Not feeling great about it so far though. Seems like most aren't taking reservations in my area or have already reached their max on the list.

Hello! I first read about the GR Corolla in an article by Hagerty Insurance staff and was instantly smitten by the concept. It was Saturday afternoon on April 2nd. I thought about the car over the weekend and told my son, who was also very interested in the car. We headed straight over to the closest Toyota dealer first thing Monday morning and were both very happy to find that they were accepting deposits to get a place in line to order one when the build sheets become available. We became the 2nd and 3rd at the dealership to place a deposit. We are both very excited to have an opportunity to own one of these cars (hopefully!) and have been very pleased that our salesman has kept in touch with us over the past months. I normally own muscle cars with V8s for driving fun, but have been planning on transitioning to a fun small car with a manual transmission for some time now, like I used to drive as a kid. I'm very happy to be a part of this forum!

Hello all, just joined the forum today. I put in a deposit for a GR Corolla yesterday. I've been a Subaru guy for over the past decade (2011 Hatch) and now i can't wait to move on to the coolest hatch on the market. Also a big jdm guy, currently restoring a 1989 Nissan Silvia as well.

Got kicked off the other Gr corolla forum for “being disrespectful to admins” that place is lame, was on there since Jan ‘22. Been talking to a dealer I do work for, for over 2 years about this car (since Gr Yaris came out). Number one with them, I’ve been more into the off-road community in the past, (3 tacomas, 2 jeeps, another Toyota pickup). Anyway, getting pretty close to delivery time, figured I’d hop on another forum.

What's up everyone,

Current daily driver 2015 Honda Civic, looking to sell for down payment on GR corolla. (Hard to sell my first car, had since 2015, but think it's worth it)

Current project build 1988 Mazda Rx-7

I've been lurking since July, but I decided the GR Corolla is something I would like to invest in rather than other options that I was looking at.
